working process

just... wow... this was the longest time I ever worked on an illustration. If I count back, that picture did take me around 45 hours... thats horrible xD thats a full working week. I need to improve my time management <.< apart from that... wow xD If you like him you need to thank JadeLei727 , we had a small chat about fire emblem (probably the game I love most of all games, it's like chess for nerds xD) and I got kinda nostalgic so I googled a bit, got even more nostalgic, and suddenly I was desperate to draw one of them. I hadn't touched the fanart section till now, and I felt a little bit cheap as a first impuls cause there is no own design imput when doing a fanart, thats why it was the most important thing for me to stick to my realistic style. for me its always exciting to imagine all those anime characters as realistic looking humans, even more thinking about NSFW content, and I thought it will also be a very nice training for my style. the face was the most difficult thing. FE uses mostly very generic faces, in the new games also a lot more anime-ish than in the past. I wanted to capture Ikes characteristics in his look, besides of course sticking to his known features like the slim face and the very muscular body shape. combined with my desire to do it very realistic, giving all details structures, seams, and sense... I hope so much you will like it >.<
